Tasting of the red wine Aglianico del Taburno DOCG 2014

LAURANTI

It has an intense ruby red color, the nose is broad and ranges from intense hints of ripe berries, hints of plum embellished with sweet spices of cocoa and licorice. On the palate it is richly enveloping with a thick but silky tannic texture to which is counterbalanced by an important sour acid that gives freshness and balance. Voluminous and harmonious balsamic finish, of great persistence.
It ages for 20 months in steel, 4 months in tonneau, and at least 4 months in bottle. Excellent aging potential.

A penetrating Aglianico, warm and enveloping on the palate and seductive on the nose.
