Barolo 2016 – Paola Sordo

Paola Sordo’s 2016 Barolo wine has a bright garnet color with a typical light transparency of Nebbiolo. Olfactory it reveals complex and fine articulating between floral tones of withered flowers and wild raspberry flanked by spicy tones of eucalyptus, white chocolate, leather, nuances of resin notes and a slight reminiscence of undergrowth.

On the palate it has a sensational polyphenolic outfit with engaging, mature and compact tannins synergistically linked to the fresh and vibrant component that gives balance, harmony and enjoyment to the sip. Final and dense of sensational length in which the floral character and spices echo penetrating. Ages 24 months in large Slavonian oak barrels, 4-6 months in stainless steel and at least 6 months in the bottle.

A wine with refined and seductive aromas that have an excellent balance between tannic vigor and refreshing acidity. Passionate interpretation of Barolo and excellent value for money.
