Tasting notes, service temperature detailed info of the Barolo Ravera 2013 DOCG red wine by Fratelli Abrigo.

FRATELLI ABRIGO

It dresses the glass with an intense garnet red, the nose reveals itself wide ranging from intense hints of wild berries in alcohol, allusions of plum, dates, embellished with undergrowth, sweet spices and tobacco and ethereal notes. On the palate it is enveloping with a very thick but extraordinarily silky tannic texture linked synergistically to an important acidic shoulder that gives great freshness and drinkability.

Voluminous and harmonious finish with a balsamic note, of great persistence. It ages for 24 months in unroasted oak barrels from the French region of Allier. It matures subsequently for at least six months in the bottle. Excellent aging potential. A wine that masterfully balances volume and structure with great finesse and elegance.
