The 2015 ‘Barone di Serramarrocco’ wine by Barone di Serramarrocco is characterized by a lively and impenetrable ruby red. The nose is complex and fine with hints of black cherry, violet and tamarind alongside nuances of garrigue, white chocolate and spicy tones of black pepper.
The sip is lively with a strong acidity that gives freshness and thick and enveloping tannins synergistically linked to a mineral flavor that amplifies the sip. Good persistence finish that confirms the fruity-floral notes. Refine in new 500 lit Troncais Allier tonneaux. medium toasted for 18 months. 10 months of bottle aging.
