If wine is art, the masterpiece of Ca ‘del Bosco wines is called Franciacorta and bears the signature of the founder Maurizio Zanella. Ca ‘del Bosco is one of the most important producers of quality Franciacorta. A position achieved thanks to the enthusiasm, passion, effort and work that since the 1970s have made it possible to transform a house in a chestnut forest into one of the most modern and advanced cellars.

A suggestive story that of the wines of Ca ‘del Bosco which has its origins in the mid-1960s, when Annamaria Clementi Zanella buys a small house in the hills in Erbusco in Franciacorta, locally called ‘ca’ del bosc’, immersed in a dense Chestnut forest. In 1967 the idea of ​​planting a vineyard took shape and Maurizio Zanella, son of Annamaria, current President of Ca ‘del Bosco, became the protagonist of an avant-garde oenological journey.

To date, Ca ‘del Bosco has over 248 hectares and produces around 1.8 million bottles a year, considered one of the flagships of the Franciacorta appellation internationally.

The Philosophy of Ca ‘del Bosco wines supports the natural expression of the typicality of the grapes that depend on the variety and cultivation techniques of the vine. Another crucial aspect for Ca ‘del Bosco wines is the application of technology to the full expression of the grapes to obtain the best possible wines. Each batch of grapes harvested has a unique personality, to be detected and oriented towards its best expression. Ca ‘del Bosco has defined the vocation of a wine-growing area – Franciacorta – that is, a territory that allows, especially Chardonnay, to reach complete maturity with the maximum concentration of aromas.

The range of Ca ‘del Bosco wines is wide. In addition to the whites and reds, among the Franciacortas the vintages of the Vintage Collection line stand out such as brut, satèn, dosage zéro and dosage zéro noir. The Riserva Annamaria Clementi, zero-dosed since 2008, receives great recognition every year and increasingly internationally.
