Our tasting of the organic wine ‘Effige Nera’ Chianti Classico Riserva 2017 DOCG complete with aging notes, denomination, grape variety, serving temperature and alcoholic volume.
Chianti Classico Riserva ‘Effige Nera’
It has a bright ruby red color with evolving nuances that tend to garnet. The nose opens wide ranging from pleasant notes of ripe cherry, blackberry and violet embellished with spicy suggestions of black pepper, vanilla and delicate woody nuances.
On the palate there is a thick but velvety tannic texture, which is counterbalanced by an important acidic shoulder that gives great freshness and drinkability. Harmonious, balsamic, long persistence and great elegance with echoes on the fruit. Carries out malolactic fermentation in French oak barrels, followed by 8 months in the wood and at least 6 months in the bottle before being put on the market.
Certified organic wine and produced with PARSEC technologies, which allow to optimize the process naturally, thus eliminating typical manufacturing errors and minimizing the use of oenological products.
A seductive Chianti Classico, which skilfully combines volume and body with elegance and smoothness. Great potential with the food pairing.
