The Savigliano Brothers is a centuries-old story with roots dating back to the mid-eighteenth century, with its 20 company hectares of which 16 are cultivated with vineyards and 4 with hazelnuts, which over time has managed to maintain its essentiality from the first to the last generation . The management is family led by cousins Marino and Stefano Savigliano, both winemakers and winemakers of ancient tradition and sons of Dario and Giuseppe Savigliano, founders of the current company. Recent management has led to an increase in new owned vineyards not only in the Municipality of Diano d’Alba, but also in the Municipalities of Montelupo, La Morra and Treiso. These are of great value for an excellent wine production, thanks to the composition of the land, the exposure, the altitude and the microclimate.

The wines of Fratelli Savigliano

The grapes and wines produced are indigenous: Dolcetto, Barbera, Nebbiolo, Barolo, as well as Chardonnay, Favorita, Moscato, Rosato and Grignolino. Each place gives life to wines that are different in characteristics, but which perfectly tell the territory, the wines produced from the vineyards of Diano d’Alba whose limestone soil gives very fruity wines, while from the vineyards of La Morra, which are based on clay soils, more structured wines suitable for aging are produced such as Nebbiolo and Barolo. From the Montelupo vineyards the soil is clayey, but alternating with layers of tuff and structured, but more harmonious and balanced wines are obtained, while from the vineyards from Treiso with soils that have sandy layers, it remains the ideal habitat for Muscat.
