Tasting of Travaglini Gattinara’s 2013 Gattinara Riserva DOCG red wine
We taste the Gattinara Riserva DOCG 2013 wine
TRAVAGLINI GATTINARA
It has an intense ruby red color, the nose spreads wide alternating intense hints of ripe berries, plum allusions embellished with undergrowth and sweet spices. On the palate it is enveloping with a very thick but silky tannic texture supported by an important acid shoulder that gives great freshness and drinkability. Voluminous and harmonious finish, of great persistence.
It ferments in stainless steel tanks for about 15 days and ages for 36 months in Slavonian oak barrels.
Excellent aging potential.
