‘Il Maschio da Monte’ Rosso Piceno DOC 2017 – Santa Barbara

The wine ‘Il Maschio da Monte’ Rosso Piceno DOC 2017 from Santa Barbara is revealed in the glass of impenetrable ruby red color.
Olfactorily it traces unmistakable notes of ripe cherry, red currant and pomegranate that evolve towards balsamic and roasting tones that remind us of licorice root, nepitella and coffee.

The sip is wide and has a very pleasant structure, with a well-smoothed tannin with a soft and elegant finish, which fades towards woody nuances. It ages in barrique for about 18 months and follows a long refinement in the bottle.

An exciting wine: the result of a philosophy that maximizes the potential of the terroir. Powerful and unique of its kind, it is certainly one of the best red wines in Italy for its eloquent and very enjoyable drink.
