Il miglior vino al mondo – Sassicaia 2015 Tenuta San Guido

||

Sassicaia 2015 crowned T he Finest Italian Wine of the legendary Tenuta San Guido by Mario Incisa della Rocchetta in Bolgheri

Sassicaia 2015  Tenuta San Guido is the best wine in the world according to Wine Spectator , the real Bible , that is, a sort of wine Nobel Prize in the world of wine.

The usual custom of revealing for several consecutive days each of the positions that make up the Top Ten triggered the tam tam as soon as the name of the best wine in the world was revealed . And in the countdown of our wines made in Italy, Sassicaia was a real icing on the cake, already in recent days the Sicilian Etna Rosso San Lorenzo from Tenuta delle Terre Nere had sprung to eighth place and then in third place the Chianti Classico reserve 2015 Castello di Volpaia .

The land of Tuscany and Tenuta San Gudio has given the 2015 vintage, one of the best in recent years and certainly in the 2000s, an amazing result.

Several producers throughout Italy, had immediately had the feeling that at the end of 2015 they had grapes of the highest level in the cellar , so much so that the producer of Amarone , Dario Tommasi had provocatively stressed that the entire 2015 production would be destined to reserve in order to seal this exceptional vintage. A provocation not so far gone in the air since the quality of the 2015 vintage has given these results.

Sassicaia had already climbed the top ten of the Wine Spectator ranking, back in 1991, however, stopping in fifth position. For Italy, however, it remains an absolute novelty, even if other Italian wines have come close to us such as: for 2016 Brunello di Montalcino 2001 Tenuta Nuova di Casanova di Neri , even before the Ornellaia 1998 in 2001 and the Solaia 1997 in 2000 . In all four wines and all Tuscan .
For Sassicaia still a great recognition then!
