Montepulciano d’Abruzzo Dop Riserva 2016 – Cantina Tollo
The wine Mo Montepulciano d’Abruzzo Riserva 2016 – Cantina Tollo is revealed in the glass of an impenetrable ruby red color.
The nose is articulated on ripe red fruits, with hints of leather, medicinal herbs and delicate spicy and woody notes wisely integrated. In the mouth it stretches fresh and wide towards a dense finish in which the fruit is the protagonist. Silky tannins, harmonized with a lively acidity that gives balance and smoothness to the sip. Fermentation with maceration of the skins at a controlled temperature in stainless steel tanks, aging in oak barrels for 24 months.
An enveloping and seductive wine that does not renounce drinkability: the great intelligibility of the fruit is masterfully embellished with delicate tertiary notes. Deservedly one of the best Montepulciano d’Abruzzo.
