Pinot Nero ‘Apertura’ 2017 – Cascina Pastori Colombo

The Pinot Nero ‘Apertura’ 2017 – Cascina Pastori Colombo wine is characterized by a lively and soft ruby red. The nose is complex and fine, outlining notes of raspberry, and undergrowth flanked by nuances of medicinal herbs, white chocolate, suggestions of coffee powder and spicy tones of black pepper.

The sip is lively with a strong acidity that gives sensational freshness and silky tannins synergistically linked to a mineral flavor that amplifies the sip. Good persistence finish which confirms the fruity-spicy notes.

Refine 15-18 months in tonneau and large cask and 6 months in bottle.

A long-limbed wine of extraordinary elegance and expressiveness, sensational for its versatility in food pairing. A very exciting interpretation of Pinot Noir in its own right among the best in Italy for its ability to combine volume, freshness and drinkability.
