Rosso di Montepulciano DOC ‘Selciaia’ 2018 di Fassati

The Rosso di Montepulciano DOC ‘Selciaia’ 2018 by Fassati is revealed in the glass of intense and brilliant ruby red. The bouquet is characterized by notes of black cherry, violet, dog rose, on a spicy background of black pepper, green pepper and undergrowth.

On the palate it creates an interesting dialectic between the acidity of the backbone and the well-defined tannins. Good length with references to floral-fruity nuances.

The drink envelops the palate in a dense sip with compact tannins. Excellent salty trail on the finish that leaves the mouth fresh and satisfied. Refine 6 months in large Slavonian barrels.

A wine with a clean and intriguing nose, characterized by a juicy and well-rhythmic drink with a granular flavor. Great potential in food pairing.
