“Testamatta – Toscana Rosso IGT 2016″ -Bibi Graetz”
The Testamatta Toscana Rosso IGT 2016 by Bibi Graetz has an intense ruby red color, the nose spreads wide, rich and complex, ranging from notes of cherry and black cherry, embellished with a succession of delicate and well-defined nuances of leather, cloves and toasted notes.
On the palate it presses with a thick but soft and silky tannic texture assisted by a pleasant acidic shoulder that gives freshness suggesting blood orange epiphanies. It opens for a harmonious, vibrant finish with long persistence.
It is produced with 100% Sangiovese, with careful care and meticulous selection in the vineyard. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature, with daily punching down. It is then refined in French rovese barriques for 16-18 months before being bottled.
