Varramista Toscana IGT 2013
It exhibits an impenetrable and brilliant ruby red color with garnet reflections. It spreads to the incisive, intense and complex nose, articulating itself between blackberries, blueberries, and wild strawberries alongside suggestions of black pepper, cocoa powder and roasting.
The sip of enthralling wraps, with well-defined and smooth tannins supported by an enthralling acidity that gives great freshness. Final on the fruit and on the spices, of great persistence and cleanliness. Refines 15 months in first passage barriques.
A wine with an eloquent, fascinating, fruity, and spicy nose, but which also convinces the palate for its pleasant drinkability and sensational persistence. Good aging potential.
