Our tasting of Di Giovanna’s Helios Rosso IGP Terre Siciliane 2016 wine, complete with notes of aging, denomination, blend, serving temperature and alcohol by volume.
Helios Rosso IGP Terre Siciliane 2016
Helios Rosso shows an impenetrable ruby color. Characterized by a large bouquet with hints of berries and black cherry, violet petals, assisted by spicy notes of nutmeg and vagueness of coffee powder.
On the palate it is soft and warm, with soft and elegant tannins. A balanced blend very representative of Di Giovanna production, whose long persistence allows for finely spiced fruity returns thanks to the contribution of wood. Fermentation between steel (50%) and barrique (50%), then matures between Tonneau and steel for 18 months.
A wine of great elegance and olfactory eloquence, sensational for its versatility in food pairing. A very elegant interpretation of Syrah, fully qualified among the best in Italy.
